2024 Grants

As we embrace the fresh possibilities that come with the new year, we invite individuals, organizations, and projects to tap into available funds to unite ideas and foster positive change within our community. This year is more than a calendar shift—it's an open canvas for creativity, impact, and community spirit. Join us in leveraging this year's grants cycles to create lasting change and enrich the lives of those we serve.

Six unique community grants offer multiple paths toward uplifting your community. Our Community Cares Grants support projects in all corners of our county and address a wide variety of needs such as food insecurity, access to transportation, historic preservation, cultural and civic pursuits, plus so much more.

For organizations looking to impact women and families this upcoming year, Women Giving Together will provide funds again to address the hopes and dreams of women and children. In 2024, Women Giving Together members are particularly interested in projects that uplift early childhood education.

Our Youth Philanthropy Council members continue to market their classroom grants in White County schools. With 24 youth representatives, YPC members are looking for classroom projects that impact a wide range of students with a sustainable approach.

As your Community Foundation of White County steps into the second year of its five-year mission of addressing mental wellness in the county, we have $50,000 available again this year for Mental Wellness Grants. Last year, Mental Wellness Grants provided funds to bring a mental health counselor at Camp Buffalo, supported North White’s food backpack program, partially funded Courage Rock’s new riding center to provide equestrian therapy services year-round to veterans, and more.

To learn about all of the grants available at the Community Foundation and how to apply, log on to www.cfwhitecounty.org/grants-available.

If the impact of our grantmaking gets you excited, join the many other individuals, families, and organizations who are committed to White County’s future. Currently, donations to support our community grantmaking efforts have the potential to be matched 2:1 through Lilly Endowment Inc.’s GIFT VIII initiative—doubling your impact! Reach out to Director, Lucy Dold, at (574) 583-6911 to learn more.
