It is an amazing opportunity that we share... working each day to identify and acknowledge the best our community has to offer, rewarding hard work and passion with resources to pursue and attain dreams, and all while helping others share their many blessings with those who are underserved or in need of a hand up.

We couldn't image having a more enjoyable opportunity to serve.

This is an excellent opportunity for a full-time student to gain experience in the nonprofit and Community Foundation arena. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited Indiana college or university. These paid, part-time positions will be supported in part by the Indiana Philanthropy Alliance and funded by the Lilly Endowment, Inc and its GIFT Community Foundation Intern program.

Organization Overview: Established in 1998, the Community Foundation of White County’s mission is to strengthen and transform our community by fostering charitable giving, philanthropic aspirations, and leadership. CFWC is a proud affiliate of the Community Foundation of Greater Lafayette, a partnership that strengthens our region. In its simplest form, the Foundation receives charitable contributions and invests and manages them as a permanent endowment according to the charitable intentions of our donors. Typically, charitable gifts come from individuals, families, organizations, corporations, and other foundations. The income earned on the endowed fund is distributed each year for the purpose defined by the fund creator.
