In 2016, CFWC granted $13,000 to help launch the PRIDE Work Ethics program in our four county school systems.
The PRIDE acronym stands for: Persistence, Respectfulness, Initiative, Dependability, and Efficiency.
The PRIDE program allows schools to build the “soft skills” needed to be a responsible and contributing member of the community, particularly as they move one from school into college, the workforce, military, or family life.
The PRIDE Certificate is not achieved easily. Students have to meet rigorous standards, pass several competencies, and be recommended by a team of teachers in order to receive the Certificate.
Congratulations and very best wishes to the White County PRIDE Class of 2018!
