Winson (Wink) Jones once said, “I have increasingly come to realize that money only has significant value if it can be applied to a worthy cause or purpose.”

A native of Chalmers, Wink had a long, successful career in finance in Chicago, Washington DC, and Seattle. But keeping in close touch with White County family and friends always ranked at the top of his priority list. Relationships were of the upmost importance to him.

Wink established two funds with the Community Foundation: The Chalmers Cemetery Fund, which funds the maintenance and upkeep of this important community asset, and the Wink Jones Citizenship Achievement Fund, which honors one male and one female senior graduating from Frontier High School.
