CFWC has different grant cycles available through the year.  We encourage you to check this website section, watch for announcements, and call if you have any questions.

 

The following grant cycles are open at this time.  Additional cycles will be announced later in the year.​

Leslie Grants - "Small but Mighty!"

 

A new grant-making approach for the Foundation, Leslie Grants are available to nonprofit organizations seeking requests under $1,000 all year, any time, until the cycle closes on October 31st 2025, or until the allocated funds are depleted. This grant cycle was introduced to accommodate smaller projects that may require funding outside of the timeline of other grant cycles.

Women Giving Together Grants

 

Grant requests from $500 to $3500 are available to non-profit organizations serving White County women and children. This year's cycle will have an added focus on early childcare initiatives. Please view the guidelines and application below for more information. Awards to be announced December 5th.

Mental Wellness Grants

 

Through this grant cycle, $50,000 is available to non-profit organizations serving White County with a focus on mental wellness initiatives. Awards to be announced 10/31/25.

Community Cares Grants Round 2

 

Through this grant cycle, $45,000 is available to non-profit organizations serving White County! Applications for this grant have CLOSED. Awards will be announced 8/29/25.

Glen B. and Lorraine D. Garrott Fund Grants

 

This grant celebrates Glen and Lorraine's love for Brookston and the community. Through this grant cycle, $3,000 is available to non-profit organizations serving the Brookston community. Applications for this grant close October 1st at 5pm.

Our grants provide an opportunity for organizations to partner with the community foundation to strengthen White County

Youth Philanthropy Council Grants

 

YPC grants are currently designed to support the school communities of the YPC Members: Twin Lakes School Corporation, Frontier School Corporation, North White School Corporation, and Tri-County School Corporation. Teachers, youth organizations, and administrators may apply for funding under the coordinating school corporation or an independent 501(c)3.
